The Greater Waterbury Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival Planning Committee is made up of Board Members & Staff of the Afro-Caribbean Cultural Center and Community Members from Greater Waterbury who all volunteer and sacrifice their blood, sweat and tears to make this annual event a reality. The mission of the Greater Waterbury Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival Committee is to celebrate, uplift, and empower the Puerto Rican community by producing an annual Puerto Rican Day Parade & Festival in perpetuity—while advancing civic engagement, cultural pride, leadership, and opportunity across Greater Waterbury.
